Step-by-Step Cooking

Step 1: Wash canned Chick peas (400gm drained weight) with hot water, drain and keep aside.

Step 2:Heat 1 tbsp oil, add contents of all packs and stir-fry for 2-3 seconds

Step 3:Add finely chopped tomato or 1 tbsp tomato paste, cook for 2 minutes and add canned Chick Peas with 1¹/₂cup water. Cover and cook for about 5-7 mins till all spices blend with the Chick Peas.

Step 4:Serve hot with steaming rice or naan. Garnish with chopped coriander and a dash of lemon juice if you like
